What Are Anti-Terror Bollards?

Crash Test Standards: GA/T1343-2016, ASTM F2656, and K12

The two most recognized anti-terror bollard standards are ASTM F2656 (US) and IWA 14-1 (international), which rate barriers by the vehicle weight and impact speed they stop — the highest being K12, which stops a 15,000 lb vehicle at 50 mph (80 km/h). In China, the equivalent national standard is GA/T1343-2016, in which Grade A stops standard passenger vehicles and Grade B stops mid-size buses.
